He is the Lord God

Renew our work in Jesus. Let the inspiration dwell! Let the fire of our love for him burn in our hearts. Let us restore the desire we have to do great exploits of his message. Let us be powerful in spreading the good news to the poor. Let us be brave and true, strong and mighty as the Lord is such.

Come; keep silence before him as we come near together to judgment. Let us contemplate on the word of God as we renew our strength. And as the proper time comes, let us be bold with the Holy Ghost! Lift your eyes on high and behold him who has created these things of the earth, and call them all by names.

Behold the Lord will come with a strong hand. Even as the grass wither, and the flower fade, let the Spirit of the Lord blow in us (Isaiah 40:7). Let the Lord open rivers in high places and open fountains in the midst of the valleys; make wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water (Isaiah 41:18).

Yes, behold the Lord, for he is He! Even everyone is called by his name, and he has created Christ for his glory, he has formed him; yea he has made him. And thus he commands, “Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. Let the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled.”

“Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. Ye are my servants whom I have chosen, says the Lord, that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there is no God formed.”

“Neither shall there be God formed after me. I, even I, am the Lord: and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and have shown, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, says the Lord that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am He (Isaiah 43:7-13).”

Yes, the Lord is Holy the Lord is He? “Jesus is the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of

Israel

, your King. And thus says the Lord, which makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters: Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, shall ye not know?”

“I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honor me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise (Isaiah 43:15-21).

Yes, fear ye not, neither be afraid. The Lord has told us from the time and has declared it. They have not known nor understood: for he has shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand. And none considered in his heart, neither is their knowledge nor understanding to say (Isaiah 44:8,18-19).

He is Jesus

Monday, September 25th, 2006

Let us grow in the word and in the desire of the Holy Ghost. Let us speak the word of God with boldness as in where we are gathered; the luster of the Spirit shakes us. We, with the power gained, must keep on spreading the word of God. Let us be filled with grace and power, that we may be worthy of the gift of healing.

Fixing our gaze on Jesus let our face marvel with the gift of the Spirit in us. Let us pray that deliverance be granted to us and to many, and that we must pray that we may understand the deeper truths about God. Let us pray that we may merit the favor given to the congregation in the wilderness, as God become present to our fathers.

Let us allow God to lead us to the way as we depart from the

Egypt

of our lives. God delivered the Israelites to serve the host of heaven, and he removed them beyond

Babylon

. Our fathers had also the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, made according to the pattern of God.

We must not resist the Holy Spirit as some of the men do just like our fathers did, these men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears. They receive the law as ordained by angels, and yet did not keep it (Acts 7:51,53-New American Standard). Be like Stephen full of the Holy Ghost that gazed intently into heaven seeing God’s glory.

Stephen marveling the glory of God proclaimed that he saw Jesus standing in the right hand of God. Men caught with impulse rushed to him, and as they drove him out of the city began stoning Stephen as he called upon the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” Falling on his knees, he prayed not to hold this sin against them (Acts 7:59).

Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord that if possible, the wrong intention of your heart may be forgiven you (Acts 8:22). Be not in bitterness and in the bondage of inequity. Let us not deny Jesus, who was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, and opened not his mouth (Acts 8:32).

Philip heard this, as being read by the eunuch from the scripture. Joining him, Philip began to preach Jesus to the eunuch from this scripture. The eunuch seeing water said, “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?” And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”

The eunuch answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” And as the chariot is stopped they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more (Acts 8:35-39).

The eunuch went on his way rejoicing. Philip found himself at Azotus; and he passed through and keeps preaching the gospel to all the cities. Meanwhile, Saul who was stopped with a sudden light from heaven heard, “Saul, why are you persecuting me?”  Saul asked, “Who art thou Lord?” The voice above said to him clearly, “I am Jesus.”

Know Jesus

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

We have to spread the truth about Jesus. How he suffered for our sins, how he died for us, was buried and obtains resurrection. We should know him too as the Christ that was born according to the law yet at the same time the Jesus that was manifested in flesh though he is God.

He was born like unto us who was tempted yet did not succumb to it; he thirsted; felt pain; slept; wept; a hungered; sweat; was bruised and died. He prayed yet answers prayer; though man, he stills the storm; multiplied bread and fishes; raised the dead; cleansed the lepers; set free the captives; open the eyes of the blind; made the mute sing.

He was born of the Holy Ghost; was completely human yet absolutely divine; is the image of the invisible God where in him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; was God manifest in flesh where in him dwelt the spirit of the Father; he was Lord while at the same time God; and a Son given while a Father that lay down his life.

He says, I am He, the Holy One of Israel; is one with the Father (where whoever sees him sees the Father); he breathes the Holy Ghost; is first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending; buried in baptism where there is much water that is in Jordan yet baptizes with the Holy Ghost; and was resurrected of the Father.

He was in the wilderness as he freed the Israelites from the bondage of Egypt; fed them with manna, which is the food, which they know not, neither their fathers knew; make fountains in high places; his nature in the cloud while revealed as Christ in the New Testament; and is a God in flaming fire taking vengeance upon them that know not God.

He was disguised as the angel that broke the hollow of the thigh of Jacob; was the fire in the burning bush; shut off the mouth of the lions and spared Daniel; freed Abraham from the worship of idols; is the door and a good Shepherd; the Bread of Life; gives the light of Life; is Prince of peace; the vine; and the wonderful, the counselor.

He was the child born; a Son given while the mighty God and Everlasting Father; he has a kingdom, which they knew not, neither the princes of this world knew for had they known it they would not have killed the Lord of Glory. He was human yet knew not sin, while he is Lord and God as Thomas said, to whom Stephen entrusted his spirit.

He said all that labor and are heavily laden should come unto him; he manifested his name unto the men, which the Father gave him; desired to speak plainly of the Father; said to Satan not to tempt the Lord his God of which the devils also believe in One God, and tremble; and at his temptation as the devil left, angels came and ministered unto him.

He taught us his ways even way back to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; his vineyard as the Lord of host is the house of Israel; he came forth as a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch; He is the JEHOVAH, our strength and our song; and he shall sit upon the throne in truth in the tabernacle of David.

Experience Jesus

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

Let us acquaint ourselves to the truth that Jesus is true God and true man because of his dual nature. Many come to him to be healed of their illnesses, and through his power acquired from the Father, lepers are cleansed, blind men have their eyes opened, the deaf have their ears unstopped, the dead were raised again, and the mute sang.

It is quite hard to understand how a certain man was able to do this, unless we open our eyes to the truth that Jesus was not only a man but he also had the fullness of deity in him. The Father was pleased that in Jesus should dwell the fullness of the Godhead bodily. In Isaiah 11:2, the spirit of the Lord simply rested in Jesus.

No wonder, Jesus said, the one who has seen him sees the Father also (John 14:9). He is strong in his proclamation that he and the Father are one (John 10:30). He said, he is in the Father and the Father is in him (John 14:10) He asks them to believe for the works’ sake not to what he speaks of his own initiative, but to the work the Father does.

Whatever you ask in his name, that he will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13). A Helper was also given to us, which he asks from his Father, that the spirit of the Lord may dwell in us forever (John 14:16). If anyone loves him, he will keep his words; his Father will love him, and they will come to abide with him.

He said he is the vine, and his Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in him that doesn’t bear fruit, the Father does takes away; and every branch that bear fruit, the Father prunes that it may bear more fruits (John 14:23; 15:1-2- New American Standard). All things, asked in prayer in his name, with you believing it, you shall receive.

The princes of this world would not have killed Jesus if they only knew of his kingdom in heaven and of his nature as the Son of God for Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15). Though he is a child born, and a Son given, he is also the mighty God and the everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6).

The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age while looking for that blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus (Titus 2:13).

God has highly exalted him, and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).

For this reason, we need to believe of Jesus’ deity as well as his humanity. He has manifest in the flesh that he may save the world from their sins. He was glorified, an example that by his resurrection, we may also experience it through being renewed as we receive the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4; 2:38).

Getting involved

Sunday, September 17th, 2006

Some of the things we do lead us to measure our ability as a grown up man. How we are able to listen to what the flow of events whisper deep in us. We ought to know that sometimes, we need to be like those who desire to measure their ability.

I like the way things get hooked to me, that I should desire to love the way love conquers everything. Love. It still tickles my heart. It desires to be patterned in the way we should endure with life.

We all want to achieve the desired love, despite of our weakness, which is a common nature in a man. We need to be involved in a situation where we should be hopeful for those scarred and wounded. We need to be involved desiring love all the way.

We are here as a person of strength wanting a future, which is not, blurred enough. We need each other, as we all want peace. All we have to do is to be awakened to the truth that the nature desired for a common man is that he should be fully alive.

All we desire in this life is that we should obtain our needs. We want a life where there is a flood of talents in everyone. We all need a situation where we are captivated by the smiles of persons around us sharing each other’s success.

All we have to do is to join a group that will renew our effort to desire what is in store for the future. We all know that we are here as souls that wanted peace. We are going to hear the same message again and again, where we need to test our strength.

What we should do is to obtain enjoyment, which we all want out of life. We all need to be refreshed and restored every time. Our life is that, we are here to continue what we have started. We desire to be like Christ, or any other example.

We are here to pattern our will to that which the Creator has. We are future leaders wanting much than what is desired. Love: that is all what we wanted. We need to go on. We desire to forego being filled with love in life. What we want is to satisfy each other.

All we need is to desire what we aspire. Let us find treasure in love that will last through time giving us space when we need to move on. We are here as future leaders of tomorrow, trying our best to excel and be desirous to succeed.

Let’s try to find inspiration, which we would want to create love whenever we want to.  We should love our neighbors like what we feel for ourselves. We all want a life of which we need to desire a future meant for us.

Let us be good neighbors to others. Let’s all learn to love this life. All we need to do is to become persons involved in each other. Where we need to run a life that would likely give us the things we aspire. We need to have a future shaped through a certain pattern.

What we should do is to desire love where we could be involved with each other.

Love for truth

Monday, September 11th, 2006

Being a youth or any other, we are called to a battle against our own impurities. We should vacate our mind of these and be not hooked in a situation that you’ll regret soon. We should not be corrupted by the system or situation.

We need to have our own originalities and should stand firm in what we believe. We should be one who is willing to take a long run to the race towards success. We ought to face challenges that flood our lives.

Our weapon is our strong will as the breastplate of righteousness shields us and as the one who is powerful above all protects us. We should have a strong fervor enjoying our youth and determined to exist unwavering before storms of our lives.

We need to receive guidance as we are refined by our manners. A young individual is a good receptacle of in dwelling that helps him become vibrant in will and conviction. We need to be replenished as an individual who need grace that helps us endure.

Young examples of strength and good disposition are David, Joseph the Dreamer, and Joshua. Let our belief in these shape our conviction and our trust to the one who owns all things and knows all things.

We ought to carry great exploits of what we read and know; especially the word as these shapes our character and makes us steadfast and is not defeated by the enemy. We need to be clothed with the peace we obtain and become tranquil against pressing realities.

The deceiver speaks of peace and safety, which some are inclined to believe but we should be guarded against this for not one, is aware of a sudden destruction. We should be warned against philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of man, after the rudiments of the world and not after the Master.

We need to arm ourselves with an eye single in focus that we might be full of light. We should refrain from illusions and being a fanatic that lead us to believe what our imagination caters.

We need to fight a cause for the young and be protected against actions of divinations, and false visions and lying wonders which corrupt the limited perspective of man which the enemy takes advantage of.

We should fight a good fight of faith that springs from what sacred things we hear and read, and battle against false doctrine shaped out of man’s blind convictions and false concepts. We should not be deceived by the tricky wisdom of men.

Wisdom not from above is most of the time proved a lie against what is pure. By wisdom from he who is all-powerful through his Spirit, we should detect a deception that caters half-truth realities, for we are held responsible of what we do and believe.

We should protect the young and encourage them to have sustenance through the word. Our young would determine the future as to how it progress and continue. We are required to shield them from corrupt ideals. They should be fed with advices and receive right doctrine which what the Master says the flesh we should eat.

What future will we give the youth? Shall we give them a future, which is a waste or garbage? Not unless, they are taught rightly?

Their blood is upon our hands, as we are held accountable of their soul. So we should have the duty to lead them to the truth.

For our youth, possess this truth and sell it not!

Where love is

Friday, September 8th, 2006

The wings of love represented by God secure the beauty that someone who loves possesses in his heart. The Master protects one who loves rightly as he who loves knows God. Love and God is synonymous. Both are in the realm of intimacy.

Without God, things are void. Without love, the heart is empty. It is important to love: your fellowmen, your neighbors, and yourself, and above all, God. With such assurance from them, you will be inspired to live.

To love and be in despair is better than to have not loved at all. Love suffers long, and is kind. It is not jealous, it is not pompous, does not seek its own interest, it is not quick tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrong doing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

It is good to be inspired and inspire someone, and it’s good to be healthy with our relationship with our neighbors. It is a miracle if by love you can be healed. God heals the brokenhearted, and he makes their compassion for others complete and makes one feel complete.

To be loved is to receive favor from God or from others, doing similar favor to them too, remembering and is being remembered. Intimacy is to think of someone and yearn to be in his or her thoughts and in his or her heart. Don’t forget that God is an intimate person. One who loves like the way God loves him sticks even through pain and difficulties. Even if you stumble and fall, God is there to carry you.

Don’t be tricked by a relationship that is not willing to sacrifice and is without humility. It is important to give as to receive. It is important to have an adult love that longs for the happiness of the other even to the extent of offering one’s life. Such love of one would not hesitate preferring other’s welfare thinking less of his gain.

Real love is to seek and find out what would catch other’s interest. Love seeks that which is perfect. Love never fails. If there be prophesies, these will be brought to nothing; if there be tongues, they will cease; if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing. But when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away, knowledge and prophecy.

We shall fully know as we have had tried to know. Faith, hope and love remain, these three; but the greatest among these is love (1 Cor. 13:8-10, 12). Pursue love then and strive eagerly for spiritual gifts, above all that you are able to prophesy (1 Cor. 14:1).

Let us love one another. And as the silly minded ones say, love another person. Let us not forget that God is love. Where love is, God is there, as in the poem, ‘Mother and Child.’

By my side

Wednesday, September 6th, 2006

I seem to fly light in the air with the triumph that I bear in my heart. I’ve obtained inspiration once more as like a child I put a finger in my lips as I grin over a situation that plays in my mind. I heartily laugh over some events that I remember.

This must be love! I don’t care how she looks but for me she’s the most beautiful girl I’ve set my eyes on. This is how I fall in love. I look unto the heart. When it’s pure and clean, I would love her person than her stature. And I would love dearly with just the two of us knowing it. But I like to shout from the mountaintop, “I Love yoouuuuu!”

Heheh, stars still shine at the wee hours of the morning, and what great freedom I feel! I’m seemed tipsy with wine though I don’t drink at all. Though my room is light green and plain since it was newly painted, I seem to see roses everywhere and depict a picture of the girl and I wanted to offer for her those roses.

I seem to feel her embrace, as I sense the cold of the morning, and to think it’s just 4:30 a.m. But I don’t mind the time nor count it, every minute is for her and the smell of the morning seems flowers, scents of ilang-ilang and sampaguita.

But mind you, they are not growing by this time. Mom might have cutted the tree or the bush. I dreamt of playing hide and seek with the girl I love in the forest, and swimming in the pond though I don’t know how to swim.

I would dream of sketching her picture, those curly hairs and sparkling eyes and a mysterious squirm as she may yawn in my imagination. And I would fondle her nose and tough her chins, and say, “What a beautiful girl you are!” Hahahaahh.

It’s true! For me she’s beautiful! Everyone has her kind of beauty, and that should be respected. I  feel submerged in a drum till my neck.

Para

na akong singer nito eh.

But mind you I actually sing, but I would settle now for gospel songs. I forgot to ask what is her theme song. But suddenly, I am caught in a blue at this time. What if she doesn’t want me? With all my looks, though I’m not that muscle man. And am I smart? She likes such kind daw.

And I was reduced to recollection. My Dad always cautions me of over joy. For if it happens in the evening, I may not be able to sleep the night. My heart seems squeezed by this time. I’m afraid for another blow again, and would not know if I’ll be able to love once more should this fail.

I look at the heaven outside, and I can’t see the stars, they seem to squirm in my heart and I seem to feel pain. I easily get turned off, and she must be sweet or I’ll die. I’d been thinking what would I put in my room. I don’t want to put a nearly naked girl anymore.

I use to have a Tanya Garcia poster in my room. What will I place? Cat and Dog, heheh? I want to try a picture sketched by me but I don’t draw anymore. I’ve given up sketching though I always win first place before in painting contests. I’ve never even try using oil paint.

I have a poem, By the Candlelight behind my door but that’s all, its bare except for the furniture and beds, including a computer set, a durabox and an electric fan I own. I use to write in my computer right now, wala lang Internet. I think of my love again, my newly found love. I long to caress her, but she’s far from me.

If only she’s by my side…

…with my love.
