Color with love

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

Let us view things in a clean way, where you would see nothing but clearness and purity; see things as if everything is a spun of daylight where you would welcome sunshine. It would be beautiful if we face even pressures with that concept.

We welcome every challenge with hope and perseverance encouraging and comforting others and restoring the warmness between. Let us look at things that though we are faced with bundles of burdens, you still manage to smile and be not affected by what is happening around.

A beautiful concept used by some entrepreneurs and companies is to greet “Good Morning” even in the afternoon or evening. You are then motivated and would show interest. You are stimulated with the glow within that would create happiness. Beautiful! No troubles even if there were. No pressures even if there were.

Ah, great was that thing where you won’t grow wrinkles at an early age. You are ready to divert your attention even sad. You would face the day’s business lighthearted. Perhaps this is the solution to a worsening situation. Smile though your heart is aching. Even in pain contemplate with the goodness of your God.

Let all things appear as new! Let things be done thinking of God’s presence. Let every day be considered as a favor from God, thanking him of the life we bear, rejoicing with him for the miracle within. Let’s face the day as a moment of restoration; as every opportunity to grow. Start the day with a smile and end it the same.

Be a good reader of the scriptures, and be encouraged by what you read. Let the world turn brighter even at night, hoping for a blessing on the following day. Be a good traveler enjoying the sceneries as you pass by. Be not easily irritated, but accept occurrence as a thing that will pass easily not annoying you.

Grow with God, march the trail with enjoyment, and be eager to get to your destination. Change the mood of the world to that with songs and celebration. Wish and aspire that you won’t be at a losing end but would be seeing your victory ahead. Come; let’s return home, deep within our hearts where a still small voice of God whispers.

Our role in life is to be a person ready to thank God at each new day. Without him favoring us, we won’t see the dawning of every new day; the glowing of the beautiful sunshine; and the birth of a new occurrence. Forget your selves’ concerns, think of God’s itinerary with you willing to submit, follow and obey.

Come for a moment to renew, and forego for some more moments to enjoy. Yes, not just to experience but to enjoy. Let love grow in your heart! Let all men be considered a fellow. Even the hardest of them, will be a good fellow to talk with once you discover what would interest them. Think of the world as a home, with every fellow not an enemy but an acquaintance. Get a chance to color the world with love!

Cry of crows

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

The new moment is here and the
old thing bade the truth respect with love. In the time of restoration, the
cries of the crows no longer disturb the inner peace. It has viewed the whole
thing as a beautiful story to tell not undermining the strength of the weak but
taking it as the thing to be observed.

In the moment that you would need
persons to be trusted the meek is always there willing to hear for the time has
come to lead the sheep in full flock for the sign is here. Their tendency is to
be intimate showing the best of friendship while waiting for the trumpet to
sound.

One moment more and they will gather
building the consistency of the Spirit that is filled and waking up those that
dream that they would rise and keep the mission going. We cannot let this
beautiful thing to pass without doing our turn and this is done without turning
back. We should not let the wiles of the enemy to mislead us.

The monstrous distress is not the
thing to ignore for even the word in the time destined may be scarce and the
thing of beauty would be rare. For what beauty has the filthy and what glory
has the abomination? We could no longer bring out the best when the stains has
turn as black with mud, but the Lord is waiting for us to repent and plead.

Why should we mar our best with the
worse when we have a choice to be cleansed? A big no to temptation! Why should
we compromise when we have our choice to be clear with God? To desire the truth
to do our best in order to refrain from doing evil is a weapon to conquer that
we may behold the glory of God.

The cries of the crows are there
again to haunt us ready to prick the eye of he that forgets the good but the
crying sinner repenting will he ignore. Such that Jesus turns his face to those
that repent saying, “You shall be with me in paradise.” This is the moment that
we should open our eyes to the truth that Jesus continues to call while there
is time.

Now we are no longer blind for we
can see the reality of sin that we may be pure and avoid it. The signal of the
race is on towards the thorny strait road that leads to life. This is while
many flocked to the wide road that leads to death and damnation, adorned with
flowers is this but leads to the lake of fire and sulfur.

Where will we face for our souls are
traced everywhere? But the Holy Ghost is our recourse and to Him shall we find
seclusion for our glory is the Lord and our recourse. We are here with the
mission to spread the good news of salvation and the truth about Jesus and his
nature being completely man and absolutely God.

Let us desire the work of the Lord
for this is the gift that we need to share that we may spread the word of God
and help those who are in dire need of spiritual enlistment. So let the crows
cry but we shall have our peace that we may be unaffected and never denied of
our freedom being disciples of the Lord.

Facets for change

Sunday, November 26th, 2006

We are living in the world where occurrences are likely unpredictable. We do not know what will exactly happen. The law of nature prevails in occurrence of catastrophe and lives and properties are destroyed during typhoon or earthquake. Sometimes misery happens within our helpless selves usually during depression or disease.

Sickness usually occurs because of what we have done, sometimes by overdoing things. In some rare occurrence we are into sufferings because we desire it. It is up for us then to examine what our past prayers contain. Sometimes we become restless because we have abused our own mind or body.

When we regain consciousness of what we do, a sudden imbalance in our system occurs. Sometimes, we realize that we already lose control of our scheme of action and it is too late to recover from our set back. We drift to what has to come and sometimes enslaved to sickness for years.

In some rare occurrence, the cause is traced in the past incidence. It would be too hard to recover from it unless we process the past. Our subconscious flashes before our inner eye things that are buried in memory especially those that have happened during our childhood. The story traced in our family tree is sometimes the culprit.

What happened in the past four generations has something to do with the child’s health. Things like miscarriage, death of infant, abuse, curse in the past 4 generations – these all affect the condition of a person especially his health. We need to break the spell of evil in us through pray over, change in practices or lifestyle and devotion to God.

The name of Jesus being powerful especially when he is praised or his name uttered in our supplications can change our fate. We need to accept too that Jesus is God (Isaiah 9:6), and in him dwelt the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). We need to receive the Holy Ghost (John 7:39; Acts 2:4) and live holy lives.

We need to live anew (John 3:3), receive water baptism in Jesus name (John 3:5; Acts 2:38) and totally change our lifestyle by putting away our vices, and desiring the salvation of souls. We need to be overcame by the truth that set us free, and be refreshed every time with the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 28:11-12).

We have to immerse ourselves in a desire for God and ever revive the fire for God’s love in our heart. We should not desire any more things that have caused us destruction. We need to live embracing God while doing our own turn too in order to continue existing. We need to love our neighbor and value their friendship.

We need to be guided unto all truth, and bridle our tongue from uttering evil words. We need to welcome facets for change and productiveness. There are other things to say than speaking bad words. We can exalt God in praises or give a free reign on exclaiming in tongues. We need to be cleansed and purified.

Flight of birds

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

The flight of the birds fills the atmosphere with gaiety as their wings bring finger forms in its shadow. As we know, we are here forming each of our shadows in the journey. But the forms of the past no longer disturb us. We travel in the journey more elated by the sunshine, flying high, flying low, gliding and soaring.

As we fly, we enjoy the beauty of the present time. We do not bother to venture on the things of the unknown or discover the inanimate. We just fly and fly, alighting happily in the trees or mountain peaks as of an eagle; we never bother to soar in distance. We’re happier being mixed with others than being alone.

Let’s flap our wings, for they are for flight. They are used as such, what else is their purpose? God is looking on us being fully alive than weary and lifeless. The world too is watching us, thinking and asking how, for it never knows the wonder behind. They will be drowsy and puzzled amazed of the magic, but cannot grasp the truth.

The secret, ah forget it! I just know that the magic lies on the truth that God is there and I have the Holy Ghost, same as those like me who believe. We’re growing in wisdom, not necessarily in intellect, but in the precise knowledge on the love of God and the truth of his mystery. The truth of course about God can save us.

Let’s dig deeper and be clear of our mind. We’re God’s children and we should heed to him and to his commandments. Nothing is more wonderful than enjoying the love of God and being humble before him. The right thing to do is to be simple, honest on the intimacy enjoyed with God and the truth of his love for us.

Apparently, we have to think that we have wings like birds. So we soar beating our hearts with the wings in an overflow of happiness. God, God, God. God will fill our hearts with love that we should share. This is also the reason of our composure for we have been filled. We love the passing of time, enjoying it with God.

Let us be good to others and to our self. Our primary concern is to maintain tranquility no matter where will the wings take us. We have a journey to continue concerned of where will it ends. We have a reason to live; we have a plight to continue. We need to grow in faith; we need to continue the saga of the saints.

Let the sunshine glow. With the wings, our journey is fixed, and to God is the glory. We are making this earth a wonderful place to live and we are marking our life no matter what takes place. To God is the glory, yes! Fiat! Just like the “yes” of Mary. Let’s give ourselves to God. Let us support his work for we know we are on the end times.

Souls are crying for help. They need us, and with us our human spirit also groans. Think that the love of God is sweet and marvelous, as with a song. Share this love than being unconcerned about others. Let us grow and glow as the sunshine witness. For freedom shall we fly being witnesses of God’s goodness.

Fountain of joy

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006

The Lord God strengthens us that we shall be patient amidst challenges in life. He usually encourages us to pursue good goals through the magic of his word. The scripture says, ‘And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in my name, saith the Lord (Zechariah 10:12).’

Though we live in a situation that demands much of our patience, with our trust in God, we are joyful because we love his name and we know that he is the one that defend us. Though we are weary or our eye is consumed because of grief, the Lord hears our supplication (Psalm 6:6-7).

We plead to him to hear us on our call, to him that is the God of righteousness. He is the one that enlarge us when we are in distress (Psalm 4:1). We shall know that he is near when we are touched during worship. That’s why we need to pour out unto him our sentiments and lift his name in our uttering. The Holy Ghost shall help us.

Call upon the Lord then, who is worthy to be praised. When we are in distress, we should call upon him and cry to our God who shall hear our voice out of his temple (Psalm 18:3,6). His law is perfect and his commandments are pure, that our eyes are enlightened making wise the simple (Psalm 19:7,8).

The fear of the Lord is clean and because of it we endure. His judgments are true and righteous altogether (Psalm 19:9). How can we part from the Lord for he is our life and he is desired more than gold and silver? Let us trust in the Lord and be not ashamed for the Lord does lift up our soul. Let us lift up our hands then toward his holy oracle.

It is the Lord that shall deliver us through his righteousness. Bless him at all times, for the righteous cry and the Lord hears them and delivers them out of all their troubles. The salvation of them is of the Lord and he is their strength in the times of trouble (Psalm 34:17, 37:39).

Let us renew our commitment to the Lord. Let’s bear in our heart the fountain of joy, the one that shall clean our souls washing our hearts from impurities. The Lord shall help us to be new fitted to enter in his temple. With his word, we are strengthened cutting off unwanted branches of our life. Our troubles shall come to pass.

Let our heart be fixed, that we shall sing and give praise for his mercy is great. Wait upon the Lord for from him comes our salvation and our expectation is from him. Because he has been our help, in the shadow of his wings we shall rejoice. Praise the name of God with a song and magnify him with thanksgiving (Psalm 63:7, 69:30).

Let us approach God for he shall anoint us with oil. Let us come unto him for us to be filled with the Holy Ghost. It is the Spirit that shall lead us to the Fountain of Joy. There will be smiles and laughter as from our belly flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). With the Lord, we shall be filled to the full.

Glow in your heart

Sunday, November 19th, 2006

The glow that you bear in your heart is from the Spirit. None can replace it better for it is the fire from the Holy Ghost. With the Spirit of God, the air is blown within till God rules your stature for it to be brought to perfection.

With the Spirit of God where heavenly power emits, evil is wiped out till the Spirit governs everything in you. You are sharpened for further more truth that you shall discover by reading the scriptures. You cannot flee away from that glow and it keeps fighting against the nature of the flesh persisting its worth till it is loved.

The Spirit of God guards you against being overcame by your carnal nature. With the power of God’s spirit, you are taken away from being lured by the wiles of the world. Hearing the word and praise and worship protects you for it is through these that you are brought to refreshing.

God cannot leave you defeated by the devil if you remain in constant linkage with things that are of God. It is through the inspiration of the Spirit that we venture deeper to the nature of the Lord. It brings us to the awareness that we should simplify devotion and focus it to Jesus and his nature being God and man.

The Lord who thirsts, cries, hungers and dies on the cross is the same God who heals the sick, raise the dead, make the mute speak, cleanse the leper, multiplies bread and ascends in heaven. Jesus is completely man and absolutely God. It is the Father dwelling in the Son that allowed those miracles for Jesus is the image of God (Col. 1:15).

With the power of the Holy Ghost dwelling in us, we are drawn away from temptation as not to be consumed. It is the Holy Ghost that keeps on protecting us that we are not put to shame. To constant rejoicing with God, our thoughts are purified and our works that is of God are sanctified.

God cannot leave you abandoned for he loves you so much. And even if you are living in darkness, he will do all means to take you away from the pit of sin in the time that is determined by him. Just keep on praying till you see the Light and you are taken away from the darkness you are in.

Pray that a man of God comes to you to enlighten and to comfort, to open your eyes to the truth and show which are sacred, those that bear the works of God. Read and read the scriptures and listen to advices of the elders and attend worship service. You will find fellows who shall pray for you and encourage you to receive the Holy Ghost.

Don’t allow that your eyes be blinded with the abominations you see but instead avoid these and seek things that are pure. Be restored to Christ and simplify your thoughts and do not think of those that suggest impurities. Be a good servant of God always ready to help the lost souls. The power of God is your armor; the word he speaks to your heart and those that you read in the scriptures shall be your light.

Like Baton Runners

Wednesday, November 15th, 2006

The Lord guides us that we may not to fall astray for we are embraced in his arms protected by him. We should not be weary in situations that we feel dryness or that it seems to us that we are down. In the time fitted, we shall overcome.

We should do our best to retain God in our knowledge for us not to become reprobates doing things that are not convenient (Romans 1:28). Let us abide in faith, hope and love (I Corinthians 13:13). Let us be new as old things pass for we are in Christ (II Cor. 5:17) with all lowliness, longsuffering, forbearing with one another (Eph. 4:2).

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor and evil speaking be put away (Eph. 4:31) Let us be new in the spirit of our mind (Eph. 4:23) doing all things without murmuring and disputing (Philippians 2:14). Remember, you can do all things through Christ, which strengthens you (Phil. 4:13).

It is our nature to abide with that one we trust, and be guided with his advice. How much more if it is the Lord who becomes a still small voice in our hearts and speaks to us comforting words? Isn’t it that our hearts burn as we read or hear the scriptures? It seems that we would not seek other things than our love for God and his word.

We should allow his word to settle in our hearts and be double-edged swords sharp to correct our ways. Hearing his word is an antidote to the pains we are encountering in the journey. The good things we get from the journey will alleviate the pains of the desert period. We would then be consoled by the flowers of the spring.

The approaching harvests time signals the moment of festivity and joy. To celebrate the coming of the Master, we need to be filled with the Holy Ghost that the door in the Bridegroom’s wedding be open for us. We need to be ready with our extra oil in each of our lamps. We should be hopeful for our salvation.

Healing would come to us, and our sufferings will be prized with our wellness. Even now God provides an active spirit and a healthy mind and body. With God on our side we may endure forever for he favors us. God has a good eye to see within us our clean motives. The test of the time of waiting has tapered our spirits.

We should be good to Jesus for he holds the key for us to become whole. There would be no murmurings, no regret or no blaming of others. The moment we get to the strait path, we should run the race to perfection no matter how weak we may be. The weakness of the body will be overcome by the courage of our spirit.

We would go on like baton runners continuing what the saints have started, fighting for truth and continuing the race. Let us be good to us and give it persevering spirit. We should be soaring and not gliding downward. Let us not forget that we have the truth that we should take care for us that we might not to fall.

The word of God shall be our weapon: the flame that shall light the path of many.

Not stories to tell

Wednesday, November 8th, 2006

The works of God are marvelous. We can’t help but appreciate his deeds. Even when the wintertime clothes us with trials, we can’t help but marvel unto his works of mercy because we are not consumed. With his mighty arm he embraces us in times we are scorned to death.

Gone are those days of weeping and mourning for the Lord has hailed us up the pit where he leads us away the rain, and in the warm blanket he covered us for the night. And in the morning we are greeted with a beautiful sunrise, and with sweet chirping of birds in the windowpane.

Just like a babe cared by its mother, suckling in all its thirst, we are also comforted with the hospitality of the Master. He leads us to a beautiful banquet and in a front row where he fills our cup to the brim, and on our front the sumptuous delicacies and viands are laid with our friends to join us in the meal.

Our exchanging of pleasantries lasted till midnight in one occasion where our relatives join us. God reveals these unto us by his Spirit, where there are deep things of God (I Corinthians 2:10). We never knew it was a big surprise that we are whole, back in our health again. The nightmares are dumped down the pit; burned and covered with soil.

As we face the future, we are clothed in white garment still eager for the rest of the journey. We cannot help but get excited of what other more surprises are laid ahead of us. Before we know it, we are welcomed by souls who read our hearts’ uttering. And yes, in the present time, the quiet journey is colored by a tranquil reunion.

Believe it, the mystery even the hidden wisdom is shared to us by the Master who then keep us held in his arms, and are made known to the readers of our reflections. The journey to the desert has led us to oases and springs, where ahead are trees and bushes with fruits in plenty to fill our hunger.

Come now and enjoy with us this reality, that before it is a dream but now a fulfillment of that. Our family and extended families and relatives are there to join us in our happiness. Present is a real world not fancied nor created to last in the night, but is there to continue till the day, and more days ahead.

We are now making not stories to tell, but reality of dreams to share that are gifted to us as a reward of our faithfulness. The time of fear and hesitation has crossed our way to last till we had completed the journey in the desert, where we then become ready to face the season of spring and be awed by God’s surprises.

Let us then not waste time but desire the Holy Ghost that shall preserve the tranquility of our soul and never desire nightmares again. In the spring where flowers abound, we yield not to the cross but to resurrection, avoiding those that led us to be fastened by nails in the time of our sufferings. Gone are those days and now we rejoice.

Power from God

Monday, November 6th, 2006

Sometimes, we are favored with good answers to our questions, but there are times that our petition seems unanswered. Thus, you ease the pain by saying, “Wait, there is no problem too big, God cannot solve it,” just as a song contains.

As you seem to panic in a situation, the Lord says, “Be still and know that I’m your God.” Thus, you slumber in his breast, as you are sustained with the rest from him. Let your self be reminded that as you thirst, the oasis of life is there for you. As you are weary, in the Holy Ghost that you receive, there is power.

Don’t be deceived by the rejoicing that is of the flesh, by pleasures that do not consider God. When the time is tight, in just a sudden twinkling of the eye, you might find yourself already fallen. A single mistake could place all good deeds overshadowed by evil. In a single moment that you forget, the works of the enemy might overtake you.

You are not here shaped with the word of God, only to be perfected by the flesh. You exist that you might be fed with spiritual nourishment. The power from God is not just coincidence; it is evidence that you have received the Holy Spirit. The scriptures say, you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.

As the apostles and disciples are filled with the Holy Ghost, they began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). Even the Gentiles too listening to Peter preaching are filled with the Holy Ghost for they are heard speaking in tongues, and magnifying God (Acts 10:46).

Paul thanked that he speaks in tongues more than all his listeners (1 Corinthians 14:17). He that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not unto men but unto God, for in the spirit he speaks mysteries (1 Cor. 14:2). To pray in an unknown tongue is for the spirit to pray (1 Cor. 14:14); and he that prays in an unknown tongue should pray that it might be interpreted that he may pray with understanding.

Speaking in tongues are a therapeutic means of cleansing. The Spirit helps our infirmities for we know not what we should pray but the Spirit intercedes for us with groaning, which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). It is also a source of personal edification (1 Cor. 14:4). It also helps us learn to trust God more completely than to men.

It is also a source of ministry of praise and worship. The disciples as they are filled with the Holy Ghost spoke in the languages the multitudes from other places that came to witness understand. They heard the disciples speak in their own tongues the wonderful works of God (Acts 2:11).

By the power of the Holy Ghost, which is from God, we avoid offending others in word as we bridle the tongue and also the whole body (James 3:2). In stammering lips and another tongue will God speak to the people. To those whom he spoke to, this is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest, for this is the refreshing (Isaiah 28:11-12).

Quench not the Spirit

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

The beautiful source of light is the spark from within. It never leaves you abandoned of your own happiness but instead reinforced with the light from the Spirit. If you have the Holy Ghost flowing as rivers of living water out of your belly (John 7:37-38), in you dwells the Light of the world and you shall have the light of life (John 8:12).

With Jesus as your Light you shall not be left by the Father too for Jesus is the image of the invisible God (John 8:29; Colossians 1:15). In him dwelled the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col. 2:9). The light of the world, which comes to you, as it is in the entire world, brings forth fruit, since you heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, even the mystery that has been hid from the ages (Col 1:6,26).

To you is manifest the gladness of the spirit, since through the blood of His cross all things are reconciled unto himself, whether they are things on earth or things in heaven (Col. 1:20). With the joy from your heart, inspirations flow like fountain and it pours perfectly to those willing to receive the richness of the glory of the mystery among the Gentiles which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col. 1:27).

This happiness is rooted and built up in Jesus, and established in faith as you have been taught abounding therein with thanksgiving (Col. 2:7). As you receive of us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more (I Thes. 4:1).

With the light of the Spirit, you learn to put off all anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth, lying not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds (Col. 3:8-9). Pray also that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ (Col. 4:3).

Let us forgive one another if any man has a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave, so you also need to forgive others. Above all these put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness and let the peace of God rule in your heart (Col 3:13-15). Be thankful and let the word of  God dwell in you richly in all wisdom teaching others (Col. 3:15-16).

Be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world and be knit together to the brethren increasing with the increase of God (Col. 2:20,19). Let us walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt that you will know how to answer every man (Col. 4:5-6).

God is always there ruling our hearts to which you are also called in one body. Be thankful for this. Being affectionately desirous to love and is willing to share the gospel, impart them with thanksgiving and with the fruit of the Spirit try to win souls unto God’s kingdom. With this, let the will of God reign in you.

Every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor quenching not the Spirit and holding fast to that which is good. Abstain from the appearance of evil that the very God of peace sanctify you wholly (I Thes. 5:19-23).
