Strong and mighty

Friday, November 3rd, 2006

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised. The Lord is righteous indeed. He suffered that we may obtain our life to the full. With God, there is mightiness and there is glory. With God triumph is possible. We ought to contemplate on his resurrection as we respond well to his grace.

With him we are on the right track. That’s why we need to evolve in his guidance. We need to relate with order and control. With God we can be chaste yet triumphant. All that we see reflect God. We ought to desire to be saved for us to enter his kingdom and with God on our side this is possible.

Let us gain freedom and enjoy this most. The grazing land we need to venture on is wide indeed. Let us imitate God’s tranquility as we do our turn in sharing our part with his work. With his power we can be protected through our faith. We reflect to people that God does amazing things with him on our side. For with God, nothing is impossible.

With Jesus, though we are great or small, we can have freedom obtained from God. We exist within God’s power as we submit to him for us to be free from the lure of the world. Now, we know that we can venture on in all soundness, because with Jesus even with his scars on us we are loved for scarred people are beautiful.

The might of God is huge! Let us tend our share in spreading God’s word. With the power from God we should not feel dry. We can be joyful ourselves. We need to continue to reflect his power by exalting him, praising him for all his goodness. We could win souls unto salvation, be God’s servant, and continue to live our life happily.

God is strong indeed! With him we can continue our journey. That’s why we need to discipline our selves so we can go on. In order to succeed we should be willing to pursue and obey. Be humble and do good, living our life in faithfulness. This we need to do in order to continue to be the child of God. By prayer and perseverance we can be fruitful in the field we like to venture on.

Let’s salute to the power of God, for with him we are encouraged as we keep on trying our best. With him we can succeed. Our morale is uplifted so we can relate with others well. With his power we can’t be conquered easily for we are protected. We may please God with us enjoying these beautiful experiences with him.

Let us witness the wonderful consequence where we can always think of God and let him do the wonder. With the power of Jesus, we can enjoy in pleasantness. Come unto him, we shall be new with Jesus. Great indeed is his power. That’s why it is but proper to declare that God is indeed powerful and glorious.

Let us do our turn to bring unto God the broken souls that need salvation. These souls should be lifted unto Jesus, the God strong and mighty.  Come, let us welcome God siding with us and making our experience beautiful.

Taste the sweetness

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

In the journey that we ought to tread, there go the lovers of the Spirit who are concerned of the welfare of the souls. They walk with faith in their God that sends them to follow the path that leads to life everlasting.

Even while they walk passing the place of the desert where they encounter sufferings, they are still motivated to overcome them. Then on they aspire to pass the place where flowers of trees fall and are scattered on the ground in plenty. Thus the springtime blows the wind that changes us and relieves the spirit.

It can’t be denied that these who were strangers in the world of flesh rejoice with their God as they journey on. They are motivated to fill their bellies with the water of life from which shall pour rivers of living water. They are the salt of the earth that shall preach about the goodness of God and shall spread his word.

The journey become more exciting with the end times that is now here, for these travelers spread the good news in plenty. Time will come that many shall search God’s word but they will no longer have it. For what good has the word if it is too late with the Lord having already caught up his saints?

While time is here that the word is preached in plenty, our lamps should have extra oil of the Holy Ghost that will sustain us. We should receive the Spirit of God and be baptized in the name of Jesus that we may be ready for the coming of the Son of Man. We need to double our time and go witnessing the truth that shall set many free.

The time is not tomorrow but now. Many crave to feel the presence of God through the truth, which is his word. Thus we are sent forth to go and preach the gospel that we may be refreshed with the Spirit as we worship. The God that we worship shall open the gates of heaven that he may pour out the Holy Ghost that shall fill our thirst.

We are commissioned that many shall be saved. This shall also preserve us from being tempted that we may not walk under the wiles of the devil. For there will be feasting, getting married and giving up marriage, people walking to and fro busy with their own affairs and may be caught unaware of the time of coming of the Lord.

Many walk astray and their love shall wax cold losing their first love, which is God. It is because the signs are here. They shall follow instead the path that leads them nowhere, and shall give up their faith. They shall be lost and shall not find their way back. So while the word is spoken in plenty, come and taste the sweetness of it. Rejoice for we are serving the living God that shall lead us to safety.

Renew our love to him that we may continue to be refreshed with his Spirit. Come now and worship him till we are wet with the Holy Ghost. We should be armored by it that we might not be caught unprepared for He shall come like a thief in the night at the sound of the trumpet. The Lord opens the palm of his hand in willingness to receive us.

The spell of joy

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

We go on with the journey, this time following the streams that lead us to many waters. It’s a fight of conviction this time that we observe where many concerns are laid on the table. If there were any spell left for us for recourse, this would be the spell of joy.

I can’t recollect the idea of having a great mass gathered as one but each is busy with conflicting pressures. But the Lord knows how to bring us together. We can agree in one purpose of cooperating, thinking of rebuilding instead. Then we can still be happy for the collective cause after having a dialogue to settle our differences.

We are here as a family being citizens who know well how to relate our concerns in the most dignified way. We are gathered that we may know where we differ and at what point we could still agree together. This time, it’s not proper to utter unhealthy heated words but to speak them in the most moderate way.

In a soft and gentle way, our concerns could still be laid down. We can talk on things that bother us, especially those of communal or national concern, and we could go on relaying where we could agree together. We can still explain without provoking each other. We could then have those that approve to our ideas rather than having critics.

A new way to influence each other is to listen to their views reinforcing their ideas in a nice way. We can improve a proposition in the most moderate way, edit the idea or reconstruct sentences before uttering them avoiding insulting or offending words. Perhaps, we can reacquaint with each other to loosen up pressures.

We need to think of what could cheer us up by adding the spell of joy to well-contemplated thoughts than renewing everyday conflict. When the explaining and relaying is over, we need to sit down on a dialogue with the most affected few. The party affected ought to listen too while explaining their side to the party mediating.

Perhaps, it’s a time to think of the collective welfare of considering our common interest where we could be happy to get involve with renewed respect to each. An activity could be held every time to tone down the issues. We could do our turn in participating rather than creating a gap that could increase misunderstanding.

Then we could revive the spell of joy to cheer us up, renew and refresh recesses. We could forget for a while our differences and resort to a get-together, renewing our acquaintance with each other and also reinforcing our cheerfulness. After that, we are then refreshed to continue taking up our concerns in a healthy way.

So cheer up, every time situation gets tight, we could think of the spell of joy that is left for us. Much more our spirit needs to be renewed also. We could be refreshed with the Holy Ghost, this we need to maintain order and control. Perhaps we also need to vacate our thoughts on the issues for a while and pursue an overdue family outing. See you’re laughing; you need that also to relieve the soul!

Weakness as blessing

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

Let us continue to hope for a good tomorrow despite the prevailing unfavorable consequences. Let all those that seek the Lord rejoice and be glad in him: let such as love God’s salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified (Psalm 40:16).

Let us turn our weakness into a blessing. Though we may be weak, let us be affirmed by the word of God. The scripture says: ‘You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).’ Exchange your strength into God’s strength. The strength of God is a powerful strength. In God’s strength you can do all things.

We are encouraged to endure, as one who endures to the end to merit salvation. Even the youths faint and become weary, and young men utterly fall. But the scripture is strong in its message: “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:30-31).

It is not our choice to be weak, though it is marked in our path. If it carries us, evil shall consume us. Likewise we have our obligation that needs to be fulfilled. And with that we shall also face its consequence. If you are strong in yourself, God cannot use you. That’s why you need to exchange your strength to that one borne by God.

In Psalms 34:6, it says: ‘The poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.’ We should feel blessed if the Lord tries us. Through this, we are refined as silver and gold. Plead your cause to the Lord. Humble your soul with fasting and let your prayer return to your own bosom (Psalm 35:13).

Though we may be foolish and ignorant, or a beast before us, we pray then that the Lord create in us a clean heart. Let us examine our repentance: Do we really repent? Remember the goodness of the Lord. When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, the Lord who do not forsake them open rivers in high places and fountains in the midst of the valleys, and make dry land springs of water (Isaiah 41:17-18).

The Lord remembers you and visits you, and revenge you of your persecutors for it is for his sake that you suffer rebuke so pray to take you not away in his longsuffering. For the word of God was found and you did eat them and the word was unto you a joy and rejoicing of your heart as you are called by his name (Jeremiah 15:16).

Behold, the Lord sends for many fishers who shall fish people, and hunters to hunt them from every mountain, and every hill and out of the holes of the rocks. His eyes are upon all their ways: and they are not hid from his face neither is their inequity hid from God’s eyes. Surely our fathers have inherited lies and vanity (Jeremiah 16:16-19).

God will once cause them to know his hand and his might; and they shall know that his name is the Lord (Jer. 16:21). The Lord shall speak concerning a nation. If that nation, turn from their evil, God will repent of the evil that he thought to do to them. If it do evil in his sight, he will repent of the good he would benefit them (Jeremiah 18:8,10).
