As the wind blows
Monday, December 4th, 2006 To grow in a new light means we have to
travel through the journey with the guidance from the Holy Ghost. It is a means
to capture the best through our journey in the desert life where you grow with
the inspiration from God.
It means to follow the path of life
even through pain seeing your sorrow as a blessing. Though we may be covered
with scars, we submit to God’s will and allow him to purify us. In that way, we
grow through the scars of Jesus. We need to humble and encourage ourselves in a
renewal of the soul.
Let us blow away the wind of fear
and be not like Peter whom begun to sink because his focus was taken away from
Jesus. Our hearts every time should be centered to Jesus contemplating on his
name and allowing the strong wind to pass, we untroubled. When we take our
focus away from Jesus, we may sink too captured in the pit of sin.
Let us bear in our hearts that
whatever we do, we ought to offer it to God. In that way we may be drawn away from
evil. If there is a temptation approaching we should get rid of it and stay
away from where temptation is likely to occur. If we are in an act that may
lead us to sin, stop it immediately and divert your attention from it.
Every time the wind of temptation
blows that signifies disturbance. Be alarmed for there may be a sinful act
ahead if we allow ourselves to be haunted by the strong wind of temptation.
Pray to God that you shall not be consumed for evil is evil and if you allow it
to capture you, you might fall in the pit of sin.
The best way to counter evil is to
seek God’s strength to cover you that you may be protected and do all means to
depart from the nearing sinful act. Be open to ask guidance from an elder and
avoid the place or the person. Be able to distinguish which thing can help you
or which one can destroy you.
Have a moment to ponder over your
life if you’re going uphill or you’re already going downhill. Seek God’s help
in a confession of sins and benefit from advices. Bare in mind that God will
not test you beyond what you can bear, and be able to know that God is there to
help you. Take His hand and come up from the pit before it’s too late.
Be a good believer of God’s
protection and have you consecrated to him. Glow in the same way you manage to
soar above just like your old strength and be able to recognize the guidance of
the Holy Ghost that will help you to be strong. Call on God, and plead from him
never to leave you especially in times you need him most. As the wind blows be
eager to approach Jesus not taking away your eyes from him.
Be eager to reach him even if wind turns to a storm. Pray to him for
you to not repeat your wrongdoing but be able to expose yourself to the acts of
the Holy Ghost. Be not ill tempered but be sober and wise to distinguish which
things can help you. Grab the opportunity to recover and focus yourself to the
period of renewal.
