Just want to Love

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

I just want to love you now

And to care for you so much

Even you may not want me

And still prefer me a friend.

I just want to let you know

That I keep you in my heart

Even birds stopped singing

And flowers have dried up.

I just want to sing my songs

And weave melodies of love

Even I bear pain deep within

Thinking of love and despair.

I just want to stay and remain

And want to lispe your name

As wind now ruffles my hair

As I nourish pain and sorrow.

I’m thankful that I have loved

Though I’m bound to lose you

I just want that love to remain

So I might live for love within.

At the name of Jesus

Monday, April 9th, 2007

God has said in Isaiah: “There is no God else beside me; a
just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved,
all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn
by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not
return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear (Isaiah
45:21-23).”

We read in Philippians the truth
about Jesus: “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal
with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a
servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a
man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death on the
cross. (Philippians 2:6-8).”

“Wherefore God also hath highly
exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name
of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things
in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue
should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father
(Philippians 2:9-11).”

With these texts, what was
written in Isaiah 9:6 proves real: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son
is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The prince
of Peace. Likewise it was really the Spirit of the Father that dwelt in Jesus
as it was said in the scripture: “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon
him (Isaiah 11:2).”

Yes, the Immanuel or the God with
us is Jesus, for as the Father has promised, he gave his only begotten Son. We
should take note here that Jesus was begotten and not just made. He though God
manifest was formed in the likeness of man, he being conceived of the Holy
Ghost and was born according to the law. He was the new Adam who was not
conquered by death but instead rose again, that in his scars he appears
beautiful.

As a song goes: “Beautiful,
beautiful. Jesus is beautiful, and he make things beautiful.” Behold, a king
shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. And the eyes
of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken
(Isaiah 32:1,3).

Have pity unto them who go down
to the Egypt of their lives and look not unto the Holy One of Israel. The Holy
One of Israel is Jesus. Jesus was the Rabbi of the Old Testament in the
mountain of the Lord. It was Jesus who spoke to Abraham as he asserts He is
older than Abraham. This is also the reason why he refused to be called Rabbi
or Teacher for as he said: “… for one is our Master (which is God), even

Christ.

God brought the Israelites out of
Egypt. Jesus died for us that we may gain life in the next, and that we may
also gain salvation. O Lord God, there is none like thee, neither is there any
God beside thee, according to all that we have heard (2 Samuel 7:22).

Afriend’s role

Friday, April 6th, 2007

There is a need to
retell your experiences and the simple events of the previous days. In that
way, you will be cleaned of those unwanted thoughts you have and be purified of
the load that you bear. You need to overcome your past experiences especially
if you are upset about the recent event.

Here the role of a friend comes in.
It works if someone listens to you. Both of you will be blessed with the
thoughts that you pour out as these are made vibrant with the experiences that
includes your knowledge about God. You are going to love the moment of casting
out of your mind the works of the enemy that pollutes your thoughts.

At the end of your visit, you will
be thankful that you are cleansed, and you are occupied with good thoughts of
the heart. It is indeed wonderful to be backed up with thoughts of good
friendship and be replaced with things sensible. You will be thankful that you
have your friend and that your need of company has been satisfied.

You must pour out to change what is
in your mind and be refreshed of the good thoughts of the heart. It follows
that; you need to be objective with something so that you can have good
thoughts to write on. It is not defeating to have your mind emptied that you can
fill it again, this time with more blessed thoughts than the unnecessary ones.

You ought to find it okay to unroll
the pattern in your mind and have it scribbled with writings you need to write
in your computer. You need to have those thoughts typed so that you can cut or
copy it and paste it again. You must not be sad if your thoughts get blank, it
is a time to rest your mind for you might have overworked it.

Then the pattern is brought back
again, have someone listen or you need to listen to someone. Perhaps you will
need each other’s company. Then back to your computer again, unroll the
pattern, and recopy or paste what your tranquil mind suggests. After the
occupying work of cut and paste or copy, then you will be ready to print your
thoughts.

You will be thankful for your friend
with the presence that refills your thoughts with new ones and at the end of
the day you will have your mind rested again. It pays to listen or to have
someone listen to you, there enters the role of a friend. We do it in the
seminary by means of spiritual direction where you need to confide with a
priest.

 In protestant religions, you can
have your pastors and ministers. If you need professional help, there are
psychologists, consultants or guidance counselors. You can have your problems
opened to your father or mother, brother or sister, or to your relatives. A
friend can anytime be reached much more if you need a plain conversation.

 Being a straightforward you,
conversations become simple, not blurred by imaginative language nor stained
with hardness of heart. It will be a sensible and fruitful exchange of
pleasantries, events and experiences. Nobody knows what’s in your heart unless
you unveil it; you will not be removed of the filth unless you get rid of it.

Beyond the reef

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007

Beyond the reef… a noisy shore

 Distracting the silence of the sea;

With the flashback rolling of waves,

Seems lurched a vision of image

 undefined.

Beyond… is an irresistible

 temptation

 Against the resistance too often

 undermined;

The rushing of waves reveals

 the epitome of my miseries,

The droplets by the rocks seem to

 solicit hope, trust

 in the past.

Beyond the fringes of the huge

 body of water…

 Reveal the new pressures,

The coolness brings the new phases

 I should undergo –

Each characterized by internal

 contradictions.

Beyond the frail waves is an

 escape –

 A cover for pain seething

 underneath…

Where dreams are tested by clouds

 confusion.

 Where principles await

 extinction.

Beyond the rocks, I shall continue

 to struggle

Against my own feelings and even

 false inane concepts…

Until such time that I can

 muster up courage

To pursue with an elusive

 affair.

Beyond, you will find me waiting…

By the reef, I shall be hoping

 for the impossible,

Watching with a quick consternation

 at the horizon,

 Trying to overcome shadows of

 uncertainty.

Beyond the reef… is a mystery

 and an agony…

 For the soul longing for

 brook of yore…

Beyond is a crusade that would

 rekindle resentment,

 Also lies an empty dream

  about you and me.

Beyond the reef, I shall be healing

 my wounds,

 Reckoning my footprints, soothing

 my grief,

With the consolation of the thought

I have the gumption to do

 what my heart dictates.

BEYOND THE REEF… a lost soul

 Bringing the memories

 to the shore.

Psalm for conversion

Sunday, April 1st, 2007

When the heart is so full of distress

Which words could not well express

We praise God in things so lovely

As mankind remorse and feel sorry.

O Jesus give them light, let them feel

Let them relish thy sweetness of zeal

Let them trample on their pride, fury

Let them bury desires that are earthly.

Fill with love that’s warm and ardent

Give true joy through tears that went

Caress them, comfort them and secure

Convince them as their love mature.

O lovely are the hearts that’s humbled

For in repenting the merit is doubled

And what wonders vibrations can do

They give with love that’s due to you.

Prompt them in listening with their ears

But to the inner voice sweet as of pears

Make them happy with healing inside

Let those that bothers peace be set aside.

Let them love well and be much warm

Let them feel strong in your sweet arm

Let them be glad in all that were simple

And straighten though these are cripple.

Dispel evil suggestions, prompt actions

Devise dispositions with soft motions

Squeeze hearts till all sins would depart

Let them think of you, cleave like dart.

Let them be free, be in prayerful mood

And not be greedy with the earthly food

Let Holy Ghost sustain strength of spirit

Let them discover of your sweet secret.

O dear Jesus guide us not to be lukewarm

Protect our life and extend us your charm

Don’t let us fall on illusions so spectacular

But realize little miracles in thy sweet altar.

We praise you as we enjoy illumined rays

We thank you as we decorate with the lace

Don’t depart from us nor put us in gloom

In sweet Aum, let your glory Father bloom.
