Togetherness

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

Mighty proceed with hearts burning

Bold with strength and luster to run

Let us hold hands as we’re brothers

Gifted with the endurance to pursue.

We are conquerors triumphant ones

Let wilderness not mar our journey

We brave ourselves persistent souls

We overcome as we rejoice singing.

Favored with firm hands to do work

With strong hearts to surpass defeat

Climbing mountains we’re together

United then in a goal to answer call.

Hand in hand we desire restoration

Comforting while lifting up friends

Shoulder to shoulder pass the mark

Of brotherhood fraternally inclined.

Don’t leave a brother down the pit

Pull him over and let him see light

Let’s dwell in peace, we’re friends

Together revived we support each.

The mirth of soul

Perhaps I was born to cut the curse in our clan and within the family as well. Whatever were those that rot in our family tree would be stopped as I offer myself of which from me there will be a transition, as things may change or may be modified.

My heart for these pasts few days seem tattered after expressing my sentiments, my heartaches, as I have to let go of those feelings of brokenness and cut the bondage that made me a slave to anger just like when I burst out when my seat of powers or chakras exploded the very first time in Tagaytay. The chakras include the basic chakra, the sex chakra, the solar plexus, the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the third eye, and the crown chakra.

In this very recent journey, I need to go back to where my formation in the seminary originated, and it was at St. Peter’s Seminary in San Pedro, San Jose, Antique itself.

I left our home without taking my breakfast. The bus left Kalibo at 8:00 a.m. and arrived Culasi at past 10:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the former Parish Priest there was already assigned to Pandan. As I went towards the convent in Culasi, I saw a familiar face in the person of Nonoy, who suggested that someone in the family should have a devotion to the sacred heart of Jesus.

Persons were hurt; relationships were affected as I came accusing particular persons that were represented well by somebody from the clan with me wording my statements to release the negative bondages that had been stored in my heart for years that cut my heart to pieces.

It would not be necessary to explain in detail what happened to me at the very early age of four years old but there is one thing that is worth testifying. Before the tragic days of my innocence, while I was kneeling in front of a life-size image of the Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, the holy image changed to that of Dolorosa with seven spears in her heart and the virgin being in mourning clothes. After about four minutes the statue went back to its normal appearance.

I could not understand what happened, but it didn’t disturb my peace. I didn’t even understand what happened to me twice in the same room with two separate girls in the old house of my grandmother that was a boarding house preceding the occurrence of the vision. It would unveil my wound if I still have to write everything about it.

I’m thankful that after the old experience was processed, which were fortunately followed by the psychosomatic healing seminar the day after I arrived home, I obtained healing not just mentally but physically. I owe the healing of my heart and soul first to God, then to the speaker and the organizers of the two-day seminar and to those who listened to me particularly the psychologist, my parents, and some familiar intimates, even new acquaintance which include those who were completely strangers to me.

Likewise I’m also thankful for those who offered me food particularly the new Rector in the seminary where my formation originated as I arrived there at 1:00 p.m. Actually, it was already the fourth time of my journey from Kalibo to San Jose. My first lone travel was only until Sebaste; the second and the third were via Boracay to San Jose, Antique; and there was still one that is only until Boracay which comes after my second journey.

My first journey was the worst of those where I almost turn a savage being where I walked in hot stones towards the rice field then up to the mountain. As I was approaching the mountain, I use to bathe myself in the trenches of rice fields and drank from the pour of water in the rice field coming from the irrigation and eat wild red berries at the foot of the mountain.

Like a boy scout, I created signs as I travel towards the rice fields but I’m sure those who looked for me could not track those signs for they are in form of branches, flowers, leaves and stones. To my surprise, two entities were waiting for me on two sides of the mountain.

On the left side of the mountain, I saw a cryptic entity in black robe and he is holding a staff with the sickle at the upper end of his staff. Likewise on my right side also on the mountain was a translucent crystallized figure of Jesus in red and white robe with brightness as a diamond. The wonder was that while I approached towards the top of the mountain these two figures also enlarge with the image of Jesus being also magnified larger that a usual height.

I was disturbed by the invisible presence of the devil that would not stop talking too, until I hushed, and there was silence. Then my heart cried for vengeance abandoning the two visions and heading my self back to the foot of the mountain where I was escorted by those who looked for me, saying, “Here Jyo, go down on this side.”

I feel the need to take a bath again in the trench, and found myself jumping into the quagmire of the carabao, and had mud all over me. This experience that was followed by severe anger was healed after this recent fourth journey to Antique in a tranquil way, as I have released my anger way back home.

I arrived back home the following morning after I slept in my sister’s house and was welcomed home again with plenty of food served in the table as I reached Kalibo. We patch up differences, and after some painful revelations and pouring out of sad experiences, there was healing of the wounds in the family. Much more the bonding in the family was restored.

I was comforted and was moved to forgive those who have offended me and have lured my innocence when I was four years old. My outlook changed and my mind catered positive alternatives. Unlike the past before my fourth journey, my feeling of anger was destroyed and I was relieved of heartaches that had once penetrated my heart even the soul.

I understand now the vision at my very early age of three or four. After the mourning and what seems to be the wearing of sackcloth, I had gladness once more and a healthy relationship not just within the family and our clan but also with my spiritual associates as well.

One God, and one Lord

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007

The scripture says that we are victors over the world if we believe that Jesus is the Son of God. This Jesus is the one who came through water and blood. Likewise Jesus Christ came not by water alone, but by water and blood. On the other hand, the Spirit is the one that testifies, and the Spirit is truth. So there ‘are three’ that testify, the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and the ‘three are of one accord’ (I John 5:5-8).

If you are purified, in your heart that is the vessel of love dwells the Holy Spirit. It is apparent also that the likeness of the Father inhabits in you the same, as he gave you his own breath that you may obtain life; this aside from being gifted with the Spirit, a proof of the Holy Spirit baptism that goes along with your infant baptism. Even if the Spirit you received through water baptism is choked as one grows old and is exposed to evil, it is released through the Holy Spirit baptism that we can derive from Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS), and other means like laying of hands coupled with an act of worship, which yield us to speak in other tongues.

In John 3:5, Jesus said “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and of the Spirit.” This means being baptized in water and in Spirit. This Spirit being the one who gives us His gifts, of which one among those is the ‘speaking in other tongues or languages’. In accordance with this, Jesus who stood up in the last and greatest day of the feast in Jerusalem has this to say, “Let anyone who thirsts come to me (Jesus) and drink. Whoever believes in me, as scripture says: ‘Rivers of living water will flow from within him’ (John 7:37-38).”

As we continue, it is explained that Jesus said this in reference to the Spirit that those who came to believe in him were to receive. There was of course, no Spirit yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified (John 7:39). Somehow there was the presence of the spirit of the Father that exists in the Rock in the desert that Moses strikes that water may come out.

In the New Testament, it says that the Rock was Christ. It is clear that the water being derived from the “well” that springs from everlasting flowing from the Rock before the eyes of Moses is symbolized as the nearness of the Father. In the crucifixion of Jesus (in place of water), blood flows instead. But as mystics and theologians say, what flows out of Jesus are both water and blood. To prove that Jesus has the Spirit of the Father apparent in him, we read in Isaiah 11:2 that, “The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him.”

Since we can live longer even with just the water as sustenance compared to that without food, the water here represents to “the life” we obtained from the Father, of which He makes our body as his dwelling place, or in place of the body, we have the heart where our God inhabits in, where therein he speaks as a still small voice. We also live with the blood of the Lamb who is Jesus being this as our protection that covers us like the mantle of Mary.

Blood also was poured out from the Christ or from the Son in his crucifixion of which Jesus Christ is now represented through the blood, he being the son of Mary, the woman Israel, and was born in flesh according to the law. The same blood and water do we have, that flowed from the heart of Jesus in the holy image of the Divine Mercy. So aside from the Holy Spirit, there is this blood and water, the three giving testimony of each other.

On the other hand, we can also say that it is through the blood of the Holy Spirit that Jesus was conceived making God as the Father to Jesus because the Holy Ghost is the spirit of the Father. Wherefore, this blood of the Lamb was made present to the Gentiles, which aside from the circumcision of the flesh are then circumcised in the heart. The blood and water springing from Jesus in the Divine Mercy proves of his Divinity represented by the water, and his humanity represented by the blood.

The scripture proves correct: So there are three that testifies, the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and the three are of one accord (I John 5:7-8),” meaning they are united as one agreeing with each other in a triune communion. The Father does the planting, where the Son harvests, and the Spirit testifies about their works.

So there are these three Deities in which each among them is true having the plurality of the One God in three divine persons: there was this God the Father in the creation or the Divinity present in the Father; and there was this God the Son, where the Divinity is also present in the Son as the true God and eternal life; and last amongst was God the Holy Spirit being the Deity who was also present in the Holy Spirit, as the one who testifies in churches, with Ananias who kept part of the sold property lying not to a human being but to God. The Father testifies of the Son, while the Son testifies of the Father, with the Holy Spirit speaking in churches according to what he hears.

In John 17:11 Jesus said: “And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me so that they may be ‘one just as we are’.” So it proves here that the Son inherited the name of the Father who is the name in Divinity being the God with us, or the Immanuel, and that God has the name “Jesus”.

To continue, Jesus added: “… so that they may all be one, as you Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. And I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one as we are, I in them and you in me, that they may be brought to perfection as one, that the world may know that you sent me, and that you loved them even as you loved me (John 17:21-23). So it is clear that there was this dual relation, the Father loving the Son, and the Son loving the Father, with the Spirit as the active force.

Likewise it is evident that the Son was sent by the Father, with the Son present in the disciples as the Father is also in the Son which proves correct the words of Jesus: I in them and you in me (John 17:23). These he proclaimed, as Jesus has to say: that they may be one as we (Jesus and the Father) are.

So there is the plurality of pronoun “we” in the phrase “one as we are”, with the Father and the Son being one as One God, though in clear terms, are absolutely distinct from each other, with the two of them consisting of different natures: the Father being a spirit present in the creation, and the Son being both body and spirit, with the Spirit present in Mary from whom Christ was conceived, believed to be the spirit of the Father (Isaiah 11:2) and that spirit is the Holy Ghost.

Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom all things are and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and through whom we exist (I Corinthians 8:6). So there is one God the Father, and one Lord Jesus Christ, and as not to forget we mention also the Holy Spirit that is another Deity. These three are distinct from each other, they being merely of one accord but these three although not exactly fused as one, each being different, also exist as One God with Jesus as the name of this God.

Herewith we convey our prayers, invoking the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, these three in one Deity.

For our dear ones

Sunday, August 12th, 2007

The
scripture says, ‘After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water and
behold, the heavens were opened (for him), and he saw the Spirit of God
descending like a dove (and) coming upon him (Jesus). And the voice came from
the heavens, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil
(Matthew 3:16-17, 4:1).’

This
Scripture passage clearly attests that there was a clear manifestation of the
Trinity. Here in this scripture, it was clear that the Holy Spirit became
apparent in the form of a dove. Furthermore, there was this voice that is
intelligible being heard clearly as the heaven was opened, saying, “This is my beloved
Son!” Thus, there is this Father who was speaking to the Son. Also it was cited
that the Son was being baptized. In addition to, there was the presence of the
Holy Spirit in the form of a dove.

In
the doxology of Paul, it says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love
of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all,” (2 Corinthians
13:13). It is clear that there exists a God who is God the Father. And there
revealed were the love of the Father, and also the love of the Son being he as
source of grace that he may impart this to the humanity. The Holy Spirit also
is made present who is also a God, which was in fellowship with the Father and
the Son, and was sharing the enlightenment to the disciples and continue to
share this even up to the present time. So there is the existence of God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, with the Godhead consisting of
these three persons of the Trinity.

In
I Corinthians 12:4-6, it says that, “There are different kinds of spiritual
gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same
Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in
everyone.” To each individual was given the manifestation of the Spirit given
for some benefit. So in this verse there is this Spirit who is in charge of
spiritual gifts; there is this Lord (who is the Son) that is in custody with
the different forms of services; and there is this God (who is the Father) who
takes care of the different workings of him who is God.

Also in 1 Peter 1:2, the following passage is articulated:
“…in the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctification of the
Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling with the blood of Jesus Christ: may grace
and peace be yours in abundance.”

Hence
the above-mentioned tells us of the Father who has the foreknowledge of
everything; the Spirit being the Sanctifier that is adorable, with this
Spirit also being called as the Holy Paraclete
; and mentioned here
also is Jesus Christ who is obedient to the Father, with him being the pattern
of the virtue of obedience for which we must submit to our superiors and our
parents.

Thus
as we too strive to be holy, we can also obtain silence and peace of our
troubled hearts after that we may have received sprinkling with the blood of
Christ obtained for our protection as it is made manifest if we being Gentiles
are sanctified by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savior. Such
that this is obtained when we are cleansed then after confession, with the
priest giving us the absolution for the sins we have committed and with us
being sealed with communion; or for the Protestants, with the Pastors hearing
their heart aches and troubles that they may then accept Jesus in their lives.

In
the same way we are compelled to follow the desire of our parents if we are
asked of an errand, or with them guiding us in our decisions. The scripture
also says that, “Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not
only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse (1
Peter 2:18).” This is so, that we may understand that Christ also suffered for
our sins once, those righteous for the sake of the unrighteous, that he may
lead us to God. And that we may put to death the flesh, just as
he was brought to life in the spirit (1 Peter 3:18).”

To
also add regarding the nature of God, we read in Revelation 1:4, with John
greeting to the seven churches in

Asia

, “Grace
to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the
seven spirits before his throne.” Thus, Jesus is the one “who is” revealed and
is manifested in flesh, with the Father “who was” there taking in-charge of the
creation, and with the Spirit “who is to come” that He may speak in churches
that which He has heard.

As
the three persons of the Godhead agree with each other, we also have to
maintain our respect for each other, because once respect is lost, we also lose
everything. Though you are tempted to say bad things to another person, you
need to restrain it because once respect is gone it is difficult to regain our
love for each other. We should indeed compliment our neighbors. The husband
should be good to his wife or vice versa with the two helping each other, and
the children should be respectful to their parents.

Let
us continue our journey as God’s instruments. Be a guiding light in serving and
loving each other, and be kind hearted. You will treasure that attitude for the
rest of your lives. In the part of the couples, there should be mutual love,
mutual respect, understanding and fidelity. Each of us should give extra
strength to each other through our assurances, and our comforting advice that
we may withstand pressures.

Let
us spend more time in reading the scriptures, and pass the insights,
intelligence, and smartness to others. We should renew our recesses by finding
time to exercise our funny attitude, and find time to laugh gathering good
friends and regarding also God as one of your best friends. Also we should
appreciate the effort of our parents, for taking care of us when we are sick,
and for the work of encouraging us to see the brighter side of life.

As
the bond of the Trinity is so strong, they being effective in loving each
other; the Father to the Son, and the Son to the Father, with the Holy Spirit
as the manifestation of their love; we also need to be good sons and daughters
to our parents, and with the parents being good fathers and mothers to their
offspring. We should spend more time ourselves complimenting each other.

Let
us reciprocate each other’s love giving a holy kiss or a pat of warm assurance
or encouragement. We should be caring and willing to sacrifice for the sake of
others. Our pattern is Jesus, with him loving humanity even willing to die on
the cross for the sake of his dear ones.

As I continue, I pray that I will not speak of my own but that of the Spirit that He derives from what He hears as this Spirit speak unto the churches. And I humbly acknowledge the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, which I invoke that I may not be speaking against the doctrines of the Church.

Jesus said, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always (John 14:16).” The word here “another” speaks that the nature of the Advocate or Comforter is of the same kind as that of the Father and the Son, meaning it is the same God. The word “I will” speaks of the authority of Jesus meaning he has the same claim to the possession of the Father being also God himself, so that makes the three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as both God distinct from each other yet of the same Deity or Divinity.

Another scripture worth to ponder is when a man Ananias, with his wife sold a piece of property. He retained for himself, with his wife’s knowledge, some of the purchase price, and took the remainder, and put it at the feet of the apostles. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart so that you lied to the Holy Spirit and retained part of the price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain yours? And when it was sold, was it not still under your control? Why did you contrive this deed? You have lied not to human beings but to God (Acts 5:2-4).”

In this scripture, it speaks that the Holy Spirit, that Ananias lied against and with the deed against the Spirit’s will, with Ananias keeping for himself part of the price of the property, was not a human being or any other ordinary spirit but a God. Ananias himself who was lying to the Holy Spirit lies to God making it clear that there was a third person of the Trinity which is also a Deity. It follows, that when Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last, and great fear came upon all who heard of it.

Likewise, it is said in the scriptures that you can device a humor before the Father and the Son, but you should not say a joke on the Holy Spirit for this couldn’t be forgiven. What fear came to me as I may be offending the Holy Spirit in some of my pronouncements? But my trust of God and my being a childlike before the Holy Spirit in full submission to his control make me relieved of the guilt and make me trust the Spirit.

On the Pentecost Sunday this year 2007 as I was listening to the talk delivered by a jolly priest, him mentioning about the selfishness over the content of what words we proclaim, I felt I was struck. As a result, when I arrived home I feel a new person, separating from God my sense of duality, and obtaining for myself a completely different existence freeing me from the concept of yoga. I feel my link and special favor with God was broken, and obtains for myself a link, which is dependent upon the mercy of God in full submission to him not as a dual stinger but as a child in his arms.

With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I feel it is but proper to mention some special favors I’ve received before. When I was newly distributing the research paper about the Godhead, every time I seclude in buildings, it rains usually in downpour and when I’m about to leave the building, rain usually stops in perfect timing. I was listening to the radio broadcast aired in a tricycle radio, with the announcer wondering how it is that it was so bright with sunshine and all of a sudden it turns cloudy and it rained hard, and after a few minutes the rain stopped and the sun did shine again.

As a result, yes, I was smiling. This favor happens many times with the white dove coming in the backyard for four to five days and so tamed that you can feed it within the time the Spirit permits my so-called manifestation when my chanting and acclamation about the scriptures were so strong.

I remember too one incident that happened when the favor was so strong. We were awakened at about 11:00 p.m. by a shouting of a fire, and we found out that our neighbor’s house is on flame. Another neighbor, whose house is adjacent to ours and is beside the house on fire, was throwing gravels to the flaming roof beside them with the help of other neighbors and also opened their garden hose.

It is perhaps with the Spirit’s will that I was reminded of the Bible. Likewise I opened it and let its unfolded pages face the house on fire. While I was alternately in tongues as I was uttering my prayers, the whole family prayed hard for a rain. And so, after a few minutes, there was a drizzle that progressed to a downpour.

Though it rained hard, it was not enough to save our neighbor’s house but the conflagration was prevented from spreading that emancipated other houses from being caught on fire. The fire truck also arrived that prevented the adjacent rest house of the burning residence from being caught also in flame.

In the morning we found out that the damage was severe. Our neighbor whom I call Auntie being also a distant relative of ours declared that the damage amounted to 3.5 million pesos including the value of their appliances. We’re so sorry for what happened to our Aunt’s house. On the contrary we feel that favor was on the rest of the neighboring houses for without the rain, the fire might have scattered impairing other houses.
