Caughting up

Though dogs partake in the meal of life

Reserved for the dwellers of the kingdom

In hearts they are circumcised with God

As by grace, they are saved through faith.

Not with works we’re counted in heaven

But by our mark of baptism and Spirit

With concern for souls made as prodigal

Who fill their maws and had taste of dusk.

We’re going to a meeting in the air then

In rapture, we’ll be caught up with God

Who desires our salvation watching us?

He is excited then of our effort to the end.

Let us not be sleepy but in wake we build

Our strength as we wait for the bridegroom

To open doors as virgins light their lamps

And sustain through the passing of time.

It’s not late to make amends, there repent

For through this we pave way for journey

The King rush then with sword and sickle

Paving the way towards triumph in heaven.
